The ICPO consists of two offices, hosted by China and India, and contract staff, supported by the USA. Overall management and coordination of the ICPO is the responsibility of the ICPO Executive Director who also acts as the primary interface with the CLIVAR SSG co-chairs and the Director, WCRP. The Executive Director is assisted by a Deputy Executive Director.

GO-SHIP brings together scientists with interests in physical oceanography, the carbon cycle, marine biogeochemistry and ecosystems, and other users and collectors of hydrographic data to develop a globally coordinated network of sustained hydrographic sections as part of the global ocean/climate observing system.

  民國44年全省漁會改進，將新園、林邊、佳冬、琉球等鄉鎮劃出，各成立區漁會，東 港仍稱為「東港區漁會」。 民國50年6月，新園區漁會再度併入，漁會名稱仍用「東港區漁會」。

王功有一家經營六十多年的海鮮樓，服務好、產品新鮮，價格又公道，老闆吳嘉種(外號二齒)，為人親切客氣，因為興趣與理想一直用心經營，從當初爺爺、爸爸到現在小吃攤變大餐廳，每天都高朋滿座，現在也由第四代掌門人吳建成、吳建寬接手，不僅在地人喜歡，連外地人來王功都會指定到此品嚐一番。
