The Project aims to establish an ICAM indicator framework in each country of the Southeast Pacific region (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Peru), focused on environmental and socio-economic conditions within the context of sustainable development and integrated coastal area management.

本會成立於民國四十二年秋，前為「金門縣漁會」，於七十八年加入台灣省漁會，為符合漁會法規定，於八十一年七月一日更名為「金門區漁會」，依據漁會法賦予之任務，稟承政府輔導漁業政策，以保障漁民權益，增進漁民生產收益與生活改善，促進漁業現代化為宗旨。
